Unlock a reuse revolution and address environmental impacts to inform policy decision-making

In recent years an increasing number of studies, reports, LCAs and suchlike, have been published assessing environmental indicators - often reaching contradictory conclusions. These publications have then sought to influence legislative processes, creating an atmosphere of apprehension for policymakers on whether to trust conclusions of one publication over another. In this content, Bahar Koyuncu, Senior Policy Officer for Plastics at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, will present the Foundation’s latest study on scaling reusable packaging, with Joe Papineschi, Chairperson at Eunomia, offering guidance on today’s complex research publication landscape - and equipping the audience with tools to distinguish between scientifically-based research and pseudo scientific papers.
